Temple Dance membership
Explore the liberatory power of dance every Saturday with Nathan
Start your membershipTemple Dance is a movement practice devoted to spiritual realization. Through physical techniques, emotional catharsis, and imaginative exploration, it invites you into direct relationship with the living intelligence of the life around and within you.
Freedom to feel
Somatic movement is used to build intimacy with the physical body and its sensory world. Through repetition and sustained attention, students deepen awareness of sensation, bones, skin, breath, and tissue, using movement as a form of moving meditation that increases sensitivity and presence.
Self Exploration
The body is approached as a map of the inner world. Students learn to recognize pre-verbal and pre-conceptual emotional states and understand how meaning, memory, and pattern live in the body.
Spiritual connection
As movement and attention synchronize, experience becomes less fragmented. Time slows, attention sharpens, and movement begins to self-organize. Rather than thinking about the experience, students enter a direct, embodied engagement with life itself.

Get startedWho is Nathan?
Nathan Hirschaut is a Juilliard-trained dancer and choreographer shaped by 20 years in the contemporary dance world, extensive study in Gaga movement language under Ohad Naharin, and years of meditation and yogic practice.
Temple Dance emerged from his personal exploration of dance as an embodied laboratory for exploring perception, presence, and spiritual realization.
His work is highly original, emphasizing direct experience over dogma or any particular codified method. It simply must be experienced to know its profundity and power.
